Johnson House

Story by Educator Dalia

The children in Johnson House have been using a range of provisions to create their ‘dream house’. Their recent interest in the ‘Three Little Pigs’ helped to inspire them to create these houses. The children used their imaginations to create their own unique houses as they drew and cut out different shapes to make their houses. “A magic house”, “Birthday house where inside the house you’ll find a cake, jumping castle and lots of presents” and “Tree house” were just some of the ideas the children created. They demonstrated their creative thinking as they designed their houses and showed confidence when sharing their houses with their peers and communicating to them what they had included in their house.

Family Day Care Sydney Wide

Story by Educator Nessie
