For over 60 years, Club Ashfield has been a proud part of the local community—and a generous supporter of The Infants’ Home’s work.
Established in 1961 (originally as the Ashfield Catholic and Community Club), Club Ashfield was founded to foster social connection, support local schools, and bring the community together.
Today, with more than 4,500 members, the Club continues to play a vital role in the cultural and social life of Ashfield and the Inner West.
Making a Difference
Through the ClubGRANTS program, Club Ashfield has helped fund essential community services delivered by The Infants’ Home. Over the years, this has included support for:
- Community playgroups
- Postnatal home visiting programs
- Integrated early intervention programs for children with additional needs
- Community events such as our much-loved annual Carols by Twilight event.

In 2025–2026, Club Ashfield is continuing its generous support by funding our Fathers’, Male Carers’ and Children’s Playgroup, creating space for connection and bonding, and our targeted early intervention groups to help children prepare for a positive start to school in 2026.
