Elizabeth Robinson
Chief Executive Officer

MBA, LLB, Master of Arts, Bachelor of Arts (Honours), GAICD

Elizabeth commenced at The Infants’ Home in 2017. Elizabeth’s career in early childhood education and care spans 20 years. From 1997 to 2011 she promoted quality assurance in children’s education and care services in Executive roles at the former National Childcare Accreditation Council. Continuing her career as an advocate for education, Elizabeth previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of a national membership association for learning and organisational development professionals.

Steve Hughes
Chief Financial Officer

BA (Hons), ICAEW, AICD, FCA, Certified CEO

Steve commenced at The Infants’ Home in November 2022. He has over 30 years’ experience in the private sector in Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer roles across global and SME companies. He brings strong strategic, financial, and operational expertise to the organisation. Steve’s motivation lies in his desire to help maintain and further develop a positive, caring, and high-performance culture in an organisation that makes a positive impact on people’s lives.

Julia Dance
Head of Therapy and Community Programs

Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology)

Julia joined The Infants’ Home in June 2025, bringing 30 years of leadership in the human services sector across government and not-for-profit organisations. She has held senior roles at Cerebral Palsy Alliance, The Benevolent Society, and NSW Government. With expertise in therapy, disability support, operations, and change leadership, Julia is known for her strengths-based approach and collaboration. She is committed to inclusive, innovative services that ensure positive outcomes for children, families, and communities.
