Effective early intervention programs are those that prevent or treat problems early in a child's life, or in the early stages of their development.
It is socially and economically more effective in the long term to focus on early intervention and prevention, rather than on treating a problem after it has developed. Put simply, prevention is better than cure.
The Infants' Home's early intervention services are kindly supported by The NSW Department of Education and Communities.
Children enrolled in our care and education programs at The Infants’ Home can access additional support at our Ashfield site.
