Tuning in to Kids a Great Success

- April 10, 2014

During February and March a number of families attended this parenting course at The Infants’ Home to learn how to develop their children’s emotional intelligence.

The Infants’ Home partnered with Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) to deliver this highly successful parenting program to 14 participants per week. Trisha Cant (child & family health nurse) and Claire Hill (social worker) from SLHD facilitated the program, which helps parents and carers to learn skills and strategies to empower their children and to help them to thrive.

In Term 2 we will be delivering another Tuning in to Kids course which will be targeted to sole parents. We are also offering a ‘Bringing Up Great Kids’ course for parents and careers, and an Art Therapy Workshop for women. Click here to view our Parenting and Wellbeing Workshops Calender for Term 2.

I have done other parenting courses. This one is different; this one lets you get to your child’s heart” - Tuning in to Kids participant
