Parents, carers and educators are invited to have input into the first major review of the National Quality Framework (NQF). The NQF, introduced in 2012, aims to improve the quality of education and care provided in early childhood services.
The review of the NQF is being undertaken to measure whether the current system is meeting the original objective, agreed upon by all Australian governments, to reduce regulatory burden while also improving quality standards in early childhood education and care.
Although face to face consultation sessions on the review have now closed, parents, carers and educators can still provide feedback online by:
- Providing a formal submission to the review
- Providing brief comments on aspects of the NQF
- Completing a short survey.
Online feedback can be provided here.
The closing date for feedback is 30 June 2014.
