Last week Murray House celebrated their first anniversary with a gathering for families, children and staff.
Murray House, which provides education and care for children from birth to three years, opened as part of The Infants’ Home’s new Early Educiaon and Care Centre last year.
To celebrate their anniversary, the children did a Hula dance performance for their parents which they have been practicing for weeks - they did a fantastic job!
Of course, the birthday cake was a highlight of the celebration, and there were many eager participants as the cake was cut and shared between the children, parents and staff of Murray House.
Centre Director Vin Christanto was pleased to welcome so many families to share in this special event. “It’s always nice for families to be able to come in to be a part of our Centre community. Our parent gatherings give us a chance to chat socially with our families, and are a great way for us to build our relationships with parents and carers”.
