With the new centre about to open, all families with children at The Infants' Home are invited to join us for a BBQ and the opportunity to visit the new premises.

Date: Wednesday 26 June 2013
Time: 5 pm – 7 pm
Place: On the verandah of our new building

New families settle in

Orientation Week at The Infants’ Home has been for children who will attend our new early education and care centre.

This has been an opportunity for parents to tour the new Gorton House, ask questions of our early childhood staff, and find out more about the philosophy of The Infants' Home.

Freya and Mum Finn (L) and Penny and Mum Claire meet over the puzzle table.

Most importantly, it has also been a time for the children to get accustomed to new surroundings, and to meet new friends.

Abigail introduces herself to one of the teddy bears.

Your chance to see the new centre

All our existing Gorton House children will have transition visits over the next few weeks.

(L to R) Flyn, Leo and Madeleine get to know each other a little better around the water feature.

Existing Gorton House parents and carers will have their chance to tour the new centre on Wednesday June 26 between 5pm and 7pm.

Aidan enjoys some morning tea with Mum Heidi.

Existing Gorton House parents and carers of children aged 3-5 can join Freya O'Brien and Melissa Woolfrey for a tour of the new centre on Thursday June 13 between 5pm and 6pm.

Mariana (R) talks to one of our new parents during a tour of the new centre.
