A series of online videos have been released to help families understand how quality child education and care services are assessed nationally.
The National Quality Framework (NQF) is a quality standard to improve education and care across long day care, family day care, preschool/kindergarten, and outside school hours care. It is the result of an agreement between all Australian governments to work together to provide better educational and developmental outcomes for children using education and care services.
To help families better understand the NQF, The Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) has released a 13-part video series. These can be viewed at www.acecqa.gov.au/families/nqf-video-resources.
Community Child Care (NSW)’s Really Simple Guide to the Quality of Education and Care for families can also be downloaded from www.cccnsw.org.au/resources/nqf
