Change of etiquette at Rigby House

- January 29, 2013

Removing shoes before entering sections of Rigby House will help The Infants' Home maintain a hygienic environment.

There has been a slight change of etiquette for the infants' room and verandah at Rigby House.

From February 4, the Rigby infants' room and verandah will be a shoe free (or indoor shoe) room.

Hygiene first

“This will help us to maintain a hygienic environment for the younger infants who are lower to the ground and crawling or rolling,” says Ana, the director at Rigby House.

“We ask that when you visit Rigby you enter via our main entrance and remove your shoes prior to entering the infant’s room.

“If there is any reason you are unable to remove your shoes we do have shoe protectors to allow you to cover your shoes. Thanks for your support.”
