Not to be missed – The Infants' Home Annual Art Show and Exhibition Saturday May 4.

Each year, The Infants’ Home Art Show celebrates the creativity of the young children in our care.

Children from our four early education and care centres love the chance to display their original works of art for parents, neighbours, extended family, and the local community.

The exhibition is also an opportunity for everyone to appreciate that nurturing a child’s creativity is as important as developing numeracy and literacy.

Strong Roots New Beginnings

Each one of our early childhood education centres will have a unique way of representing the theme of this year's exhibition – Strong Roots New Beginnings.

The theme says much about where The Infants’ Home is today – soon to open the first stage of our new early education and care centre after 139 years of caring for children and families.

Everyone is invited

“Our Art Show is one of the signature events of our year and it is a wonderful day,” says The Infants’ Home CEO, Anita Kumar.

“We are always amazed at the children’s willingness to engage with new ideas; their passion for exploring different ways of doing things; and their openness to feeling, being and sensing – it is all inspirational.”

The Infants' Home enjoys throwing open its doors for community events such as our annual art show.

Everyone is welcome to bring a blanket and a picnic or buy lunch at our BBQ.
