Volunteers help The Infants' Home save $100,000 a year

The Infants’ Home CEO, Anita Kumar, says MLC's regular volunteer work is part of a generous scheme that helps The Infants’ Home save about $100,000 a year in maintenance and labor costs.

"When our corporate volunteers donate a day of sweat to help us maintain our Ashfield site it means we don't have to go to the extra expense of hiring others to do these tasks," Anita says.

"MLC are long-time supporters of The Infants’ Home and whenever a group of their people comes here we know they’ll get through a lot of work – and all with a big smile on their faces.

“I hope they know how much we appreciate their efforts."

The pleasant day made it easy to be outdoors beautifying our grounds and restoring our furniture.
