Administration Officer - Family Day Care 

The Infants’ Home Child and Family Services is a not-for-profit organisation that provides early childhood education and care, early intervention and allied health services to over 2,500 children and their families each year.

Since 1874, we have supported more than 180,000 children and their families to build new futures. Our award-winning service offering is unique in New South Wales and we are the largest integrated service of our kind in Australia.

Set on four acres in Ashfield the organisation offers a unique work environment and rich heritage with cultural commitment to innovation, diversity, integrity and collaboration.  This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administration Officer to join our team.

About the role

The Administration Officer provides effective administrative and office support to the Family Day Care service, including accurately reporting service attendances and administering Child Care Subsidy.  Specific responsibilities include:

Child and Family Health Nurse (Casual)

Are you motivated to work in partnership with families experiencing disadvantage to developing positive outcomes and make a difference?

We have an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse with child and family health/mothercraft qualifications to join our outreach home visiting program. This role will be providing individualised supported home visiting to vulnerable families and those experiencing disadvantage.

Program Objectives

For over 35 years The Infants’ Home Postnatal Support Program has provided child and maternal health services for families with infants aged 0-18 months. The Program includes parent education to families, and community post-natal home visits, with a particular focus on mothers and babies experiencing vulnerabilities, refugee and immigrant communities, young children with physical and mental disabilities, and those who may be predisposed to postnatal depression and other mental health issues.

Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educator (Full-Time) - 11 month contract
