This calendar includes all those dates throughout the year that The Infants' Home marks as special because we have a direct or indirect interest in them – days that relate to our work; days that are important to our staff; or days that are of interest to our children.

Father's Playgroup
The Father's Playgroup returns for 2013. This group is for fathers, grandfathers, uncles, male carers and their young children; a regular Saturday morning get-together where kids can be kids, Dads can be Dads, and everyone has a fun time. EVERYONE WELCOME. Find out more...

MyTime Playgroup
The MyTime Playgroup returns for 2012. MyTime is a peer support group for parents, grandparents and carers of young children with a disability, developmental delay or chronic medical condition. MyTime is held fortnightly at The Infants' Home. Find out more...

Red Bug Playgroup
Red Bug Playgroup returns for 2013. Parents, grandparents and carers of children aged 0 to 6 years are welcome at this community playgroup, a partnership between Ashfield Council and The Infants’ Home. Red Bug is held in Ashfield Park each Monday morning during school term. Wangal Playgroup
Wangal Playgroup returns for 2013. This playgroup, held in the Ashfield Public School hall, is for children from birth to school age and their parents, grandparents or carers. It is a partnership between The Infants’ Home, Ashfield Council and Ashfield Public School. Find out more...

Croydon Park Playgroup
The Croydon Park Playgroup begins. This is a new playgroup, held in the Croydon Park Public School hall, for children from birth to school age and their parents, grandparents or carers. It is a partnership between The Infants’ Home, Ashfield Council and Croydon Park Public School. It will be held each Friday during school term, from 9am to 11am. 


Feb 10

Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year is the first day of the Chinese calendar and continues for 15 days. People wear red clothes, give children ‘lucky money’ in red envelopes and clean their houses to drive away the bad luck of the previous year. 2013 is the Year of the Snake. Find out more...

The Infants' Home Art Show
Our annual art show is an opportunity for parents and carers to appreciate that developing a child’s creativity is as important as numeracy and literacy. The show is a chance for children to showcase their artwork, and for families to enjoy a day out together. EVERYONE WELCOME.
